Adecco is partnering with a renowned Engineering firm. They are looking for an HR Manager who is able to be a sole contributor and can play both a strategic and hands-on delivery role.
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Salary Budget: $7,000/month
Responsibilities
- Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions (Planning, Recruitment & Selection, Performance Appraisal, Training & Benefits, Remuneration & Benefits, diversity & inclusion)
- Ensure HR alignment with business related initiatives. Develop strategies and provide advice to Management strategically to address performance problems and opportunities in the organization.
- Ensure recruitment and retention for positions and participate in the development and implementation of a local recruitment strategy in alignment with organizational targets.
- Provide advice to Management regarding personnel practices, policy and local employment laws, work to minimize grievances and company liability and to ensure compliance with all discrimination and employment regulations
- Identify desired business insights and outcomes on talent management and succession planning.
- Review the competency framework and roadmap for the organization, updating it with the future requirements in the development of new skill sets to meet the needs of the organization.
- Develop the training roadmap to equip staff in the organization on the range of competency requirements.
- Forge relationship and as business partner, collaborate with stakeholders, such as Directors of line divisions and Union, to advance workforce agenda and meet business requirements
- This is a sole contributor role
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- Min 8 years' experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
