Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Human Resource, this role will oversee the Business Partnering and HR Ops function for the organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HR Business Partners to support the full employee life cycle
  • Drive the sourcing and recruitment of talents through resourceful means
  • Play an effective HR consulting & business partnering role to the Management team across transformation, performance management, coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary
  • Advise line managers on HR policies & procedures, local legislation & ensure compliance with corporate guidelines & government legislation
  • Oversee manpower planning and budgeting and preparation of basic manpower reports
  • Organise and ensure peak efficiency and effectiveness of HR Business Partnering team
  • Review HR policies and lead HR improvement and automation projects to achieve optimal efficiency
  • Drive employee engagement and manage employee relations issues, including maintaining good relations with the union
  • Where required, support in M&A activities, including business integration and harmonisation post M&A
  • Oversee through a HR Ops Manager, a small team to provide support in the implementation of HR policies and office operations
  • Other ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • Good degree in HRM or related field. Strong knowledge of Singapore employment and related legislation.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven HR business partnering experience, with at least 3 years leading a team
  • Customer-service oriented with proven track record in building relationships and managing internal stakeholders
  • Resourceful and proactive with strong planning ability and able to multi-task
  • Hands-on yet able to delegate and ensure delivery by the individual team members
  • Pleasant personality and team player
  • Strong communication skills and able to relate and interact at all levels of the organization
