The Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation. This role provides a platform for a driven professional to demonstrate his/her abilities and be valued as a pillar of support within a leading global investment. Your key responsibilities include leading a team of operations and executive assistants with excellence, managing stock control and inventory checks, having a keen eye on budgets and budgetary changes, communicating changes in order processes to relevant parties, as well as ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
about the manager / team
This role reports to the Head of Operations in Singapore. There will be a team of 5 direct reports to this Office Manager, comprising of Operations Executives, Team Assistants and Executive Assistant.
skills and requirements for the job
This role is well-suited for somebody who is a personable, motivated individual and who possesses a high level of attention to detail and a spirit of excellence. You will be leading an operations team with frequent interactions with both senior management and staff. The successful candidate should come with strong leadership and management skills and be able to lead with resolve or follow without a bruised ego. You should ideally possess a University degree and come with minimum 8 years of administrative experience, preferably in a financial institution. Candidates who manage a co-working space who with prior exposure in luxury retail and fine art will also be considered.
