Job Description

As a Senior Assistant Manager, you will identify, define and collaboratively lead Digital opportunities aligned with NUHS cluster Digital Transformation goals and priorities.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Digital Transformation projects working across Business (Clinicians and Operations), support functions (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement) and IT
  • Engage business Product Owners to identify and define opportunity areas
  • Develop project scope, objectives and assumptions in collaboration with business Product Owners
  • Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
  • Build business cases and provide input to budgets
  • Map user journeys and business processes
  • Drive delivery of Digital Transformation projects end to end
  • Manage project planning, budgeting and forecasting and monitoring
  • Actively manage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation from front line staff to senior leaders
  • Organize and support internal and external meetings for the department

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 3 years working experience
  • Experience in a transformation programme environment
  • Experience in technology enabled change transformation projects/programmes
  • Understanding of digital ways of working including Agile
  • Self-starter with strong leadership skills, accountability and ownership
  • Collaborative nature, seeks out opportunities to work with others to realise progress
  • Structured thinker with ability to organise their work and that of others
  • Effective working in a complex matrix organisation where individuals play multiple roles
  • Ability to organise and facilitate workshops
  • Ability to work in a complex and ambiguous environment
  • Ability to interact with and influence programme team members
  • Ability to communicate complex issues both concisely and in detail as required
  • Analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, internal and external customers.
