About our group:

This position is part of the Talent Acquisition team, supporting Seagate's business and responsible for strategic sourcing. This role is responsible for developing innovative and strategic methods to source talent, evaluate talent and identify specialized niche talent. As a brand ambassador, the incumbent will be the first point of contact for passive talent and will own the initial candidate experience. The successful individual will partner with the recruiters to develop relationships with business leaders and provide consultative recruiting support to deliver a comprehensive and value added service.

About the role - you will:

  • Partner with recruiters and other relevant stakeholders to assess current and forecasted hiring needs
  • Consult with business leaders on key hiring initiatives, market research, competitive intelligence, and search summaries
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with passive top talent while building and maintaining a pipeline of candidates for current and forecasted positions
  • Conduct a variety of primary and secondary sourcing techniques including, but not limited to, cold calling, boolean and targeted search methods, tapping into professional networks, leveraging social media, resume mining, employee referral programs, attending networking events and/or career fairs, etc.
  • Research and gather market intelligence relevant to the talent landscape for specific skill-sets
  • Successfully meet key performance indicator targets which may include, but is not limited to, candidate engagement, applicant conversion, recruiter support and compliance
  • Effectively manage Talent Community in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which may include referrals, walk-ins events, career fairs and maintaining consistent communication with passive high-caliber talent

Your experience includes:

  • Good track record of results-oriented pipeline sourcing and hiring
  • Demonstrated knowledge of internet sourcing (blogs, social and professional networking, advanced boolean search logic, search modifiers and internet data-mining techniques)
  • High volume and niche sourcing in corporate and/or recruiting agency environment highly preferred
  • Creative and innovative in recruitment/sourcing activities including the understanding of candidate market intelligence and the building of candidate pipelines
  • Working in a large corporation in an advanced recruitment/HR environment is an added advantage

Location: Shugart, Singapore

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
