This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the inkjet supplies in meeting the desired performance levels to deliver the expected customer experience. Collaborating with various functional groups such as a process, supply chain, procurement and customer assurance. The product engineer is responsible for performing evaluation of product/process changes, resolve quality issues, drive containment of affected parts during a quality escalation. He/She will be also required to continuously review and improve the product quality system. In addition, the product engineer will also support the activities for new products, product extensions and work with NPI and/ or R&D team to transfer new product extensions to the manufacturing.

If you are our Product Engineer (Ink Supplies) in Singapore, you will have a chance to

  • Coordinates and leads the activities of internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners in support of the worldwide manufacture of a product from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle.
  • Performs engineering analysis of defective product units or sub- assemblies; evaluates results of customer feedback and manufacturing, test, and quality assurance processes for product.
  • Communicates product and process issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
  • Represents the product engineering team for all phases of larger and more- complex development and manufacturing projects.

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Using engineering tools and software packages to test, design, and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design and manufacture.
  • Using empirical analysis, modelling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Posses knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies and data analytics will be an added advantage
