The Opportunity
- Permanent position (5 days work week, Monday to Friday)
- Location of the company: Central
The Job
- Optimise workflows and ensure operations are carried out in the most efficient and cost-effective manner while looking for opportunities of improvement.
- Anticipate and track operational and tactical risks and provide strategic solutions that will assist the Partners in decision-making.
- Manage day to day business operations and report to General Manager.
- Provide management information and reporting, with a focus on the analysis and presentation of data and statistics.
- Work with and manage a team of managers to ensure all operational, administrative and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices.
- Examine the Firm's financial data and improve profitability with the Finance team.
- Manage financials, budgets and forecasts with the Finance team.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g., data protection).
- Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines and external vendors.
- Stay up to date on legal regulations, trends and technology, recommend and oversee the implementation as appropriate.
- Recommend and develop appropriate policies and procedures consistent with the best practices in Institutions of higher learning and professional examinations bodies with the HR team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services
- Efficient, well organized, able to work well under pressure and adhere to strict timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding leadership abilities
