The role will play both a strategic and hands-on delivery role.
Job Description
The Learning and Development director will drive the learning and development strategies and framework for the Singapore office. Through in-depth learning needs analysis, the L&D lead will develop, lead and drive the learning strategy to strengthen people, organizational capabilities, and performance for the company.
- The lead will also utilised blended learning as part of the L&D tools for the organisation
Job Responsibilities
- The L&D Director will deliver a world-class L&D service that provides thought-leadership and innovative learning tools and solutions.
- You will partner with and influence leaders to optimize L&D resources and integrate L&D into organisational practices to attract talent and build and sustain a skilled, vibrant and agile workforce.
- The role partners with business leaders and key stakeholders to drive learning excellence and implement capability building plans in alignment with the Group's strategies.
- Strategically plan, design and drive and L&D strategies, policies and processes to strengthen the learning culture within group
- Lead and manage the end-to-end responsibilities of the L&D function and team. This includes evaluating organizational development needs, creating and executing learning strategies and programs to address those needs, and evaluating the effectiveness of those solutions.
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as an L&D Director Training Manager or similar
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
- Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
- BSc/BA in Business, Psychology or a related field
- Professional certification is a plus
