Job Description & Requirements
The Business Development Manager is responsible for meeting sales targets for financial products and services within their assigned district or location in coordination with the broader Consumer Sales team. The overall objective is to utilize basic product knowledge to build relationships with clients in order to recognize which financial products and services meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively build and onboard new clients to establish real needs, understand the their requirements, and interest them in the bank's products
- Cross-sell client proposition to individual customers, companies, and affluent segments
- Perform the necessary processes, procedures and verbal dialogues to effectively customize offers and cross sell an expansive set of products and services to new and existing customers
- Organize client events and prepare marketing materials
- Engage Branch Banking Managers and Client Relationship Managers to organise events and increase overall KPI for assigned branch
Requirements:
- Minimally 2 years of sales experience in Banking & Financial services are preferred
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Non-banking background with sales experience are welcome
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated Influencing and relationship management skills
