Role Purpose

  • Key support role for Sales and Account Managers in Asia Pacific for winning tenders, contract renewals, unsolicited bid opportunities,
  • Create winning proposals within the customer deadline with teams involving different functional disciplines, regions/ countries and divisions.
  • Driver of Commercial Contracts drafting and signing according to agreed and implemented tenders.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage tender processes to ensure on-time compelling and competitive business propositions.
  • Support country tender teams by advising on tender processes.
  • Developing logistics solutions meeting the customer requirements together with functional experts and other required stakeholders.
  • Conduct 100% due diligence on all assigned bids in preparation for the weekly Tender Review Board process and customer submission
  • Participates in Multinational, CSI, GFPS and Key customer meetings with Sales and Account Managers in order to obtain a detailed understanding of customer requirements and/or to provide detailed information about the DHL solution.
  • Customer Contracting Process Management.
  • Develop and maintain data resources to support tender responses and commercial requirements(Country Capabilities, Business Units, Industry and Customer Knowledge Banks)

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics(preferred)
  • At least 3 years working in a Commercial or analytical role (Sales, pricing, operations performance etc) or a project based role.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) and ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple way. English written skill is essential to this role as it demands formal and accurate written bids’ responses
  • Team player and results oriented; ability to manage to deadlines and under pressure
  • Communicating clearly with the ability to advise and influence people without having direct reporting lines
  • Knowledge of Logistics industry (preferred)
