As the Embedded Firmware Engineer of the System Innovation and Software R&D team for the Power & Sensor Systems group, your main responsibilities include embedded integration of application and system firmware into Infineon products. You have interest in embedded power and/or motor control applications and would interface with application experts to optimise the integration into products.
In your new role you will:
- Be a member of the Systems R&D team that delivers embedded reference solutions using Infineon semiconductors, microcontrollers and power devices
- Responsible for the concept and integration of embedded FW into products including controller resource assignment
- Responsible for the embedded implementation including set up and validation of system involving hardware / circuits and software
- Concept and implement automation for development acceleration
- Enable ease of solution deployment to systems such as configuration options
- Adhere to development guidelines and validation standards
- Maintain close cooperation at global team and with peers and stakeholders
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- University degree in Bachelor / Masters in Electrical or Control Engineering
- Four years or more of experience in embedded systems and firmware
- High proficieny in embedded C programming
- Good understanding of electronics / electrical circuits, can debug the system
- Background in Microcontroller and peripherals such as Analog-Digital converter, pulse width modulators know-how preferred
- High interest to work in a R&D environment
- Is organised, meticulous and is a self-motivator
