My client is an exciting cloud services and cloud reseller organization with multiple offices across APAC. Their clients range from retail and financial markets to telco and high tech firms. As an initiative to expand, they are hiring permanent positions of Solution Architects for Cloud.

about the job

• Leading and designing the technology solution architecture for system integration testing as well as solution implementation.
• Dual hatting in terms of presales (30-40%) and solution architecture (40-70%).
• Working closely with customers to successfully implement their cloud architecture by assisting them in building their applications and services on the Cloud platform.
• Assisting in the setup of product system architecture in addition to ensuring the development of well-designed and testable code.
• Defining project scope & specifications, planning resources that are needed to develop the proposed solutions to meet customer requirements.

skills and experience required

• Background in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud platform operation experience such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud etc.
• Proven exposure to presales as this will be a side responsibility in an expanding organization.
• Understanding of IaaS and SaaS platform as well as TCP/IP stack.
• Strong project management skills.
