The supervisor will be supervising and managing a group of highly skilled Chemical Lab Technician and Technical operators to operate various sub labs for advanced material analysis, namely a) analytical chemistry, b) material characterization, c) surface imaging and analysis and d) electrical failure lab to support supplies operation and new product introduction activities.

  • Supervises and manage all Lab activities to run smoothly and provide timely analysis of parts, materials lab analysis requirement and ensure the team meet turn-around time requirement of the analysis.
  • Drives operational excellence in the lab with excellent management of Equipment maintenance, optimal level of operating supplies inventories, chemical safety and waste management.
  • Leads and continues the adoption and incorporate industry 4.0 initiatives to Failure Analysis Lab to drive towards a SMART Lab.
  • Collaborates and works closely with other department to align manufacturing goals.
  • Partner with Managers and failure analysis engineers to ensure that the lab run smoothly, operation crews are well trained to operate on lab equipment
  • Build a resilient operational workforce and continuous transform the workforce to meet future needs.

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Degree in science / Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences
  • Supervisory and people management experience will be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and project management skill.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical safety, handling, storage, disposal, and management.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable of legislative and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong people management skills, including managing teams within scope of responsibility as well as outside sphere of direct control.
  • Good understanding of Lean Sigma methodology.
