Manager/Senior Manager, Channels, Strategic Communications

To generate awareness and appreciation towards the HTX organization, so as to inspire public praise, foster strategic partnerships, grow community of friends and fans, and attract STEM talents.


Job Scope / Key Deliverables

The principal accountabilities of the job holder are:

  • Involved in the development of content and implementation of strategies for digital and online platforms and channels (including social media) to reach and engage our target audience
  • Plan and help integrate cross-channel/platforms marketing communications (for paid, owned and earned media) based on engagement strategy and target audience
  • Assist with the budgeting and tracking of effectiveness of campaigns
  • Assist with management and production of images, videos, and creative content (e.g. info-graphics, videos) for owned channels or for integrated campaigns
  • Play the role of brand custodian, for the adherence and compliance with brand guidelines for applications of logo etc.
  • Engage, collaborate with and manage internal and external stakeholders (such as vendors, partners and creative agencies) to align communications with our desired outcomes


Job Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  • A degree holder, preferably in Marketing or Communications
  • Solid understanding of effective marketing concepts, strategies, brand messaging, and best practices
  • Well-versed in data-driven communications, web analytics and reporting tools, with good understanding of ROI
  • Demonstrated ability in digital marketing and growing reach and engagement through online and social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) channels
  • Some experience in management of creative agencies, production houses, and event organizers, with good understanding of creative production processes will be preferred
  • 3 – 5 years in a marketing and communications role
  • Good communicator and fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Being bilingual (Chinese/Mandarin) will be an advantage
  • Good project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good inter-personal skills, initiated and good team player
