About CSA

As Singapore harnesses technology to improve lives and livelihoods for all, it is imperative that our plans are built on a strong foundation of cybersecurity, without which we would be exposing ourselves to the multitude of threats that lurk in cyberspace.

The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) was formed in 2015 and has been given the task of protecting Singapore’s cyberspace. It is part of the Prime Minister’s Office and is managed by the Ministry of Communications and Information.

 

Responsibilities

The Safer Cyberspace Division in CSA focuses on raising the national cybersecurity posture for enterprises and individuals. We are looking for a candidate to drive the formulation of cybersecurity technology programmes that raise the level of awareness and adoption of good cybersecurity in enterprises, in order to enable a safer cyberspace. The key areas of responsibilities are as follows:

  • Analyse and identify the key enterprise segments that are at-risk, taking into consideration the threat landscape and their respective cybersecurity posture
  • Articulate the key cybersecurity problem statements of key enterprise user segments
  • Conceptualise, develop and implement cybersecurity technology programmes and/or policies targeted at different profiles of enterprises
  • Validate programmes and/or policies with relevant industry and Government stakeholders, including but not limited to sector lead agencies, Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs), industry associations and enterprises
  • Work with the respective divisions in the organisation and/or industry partners to identify potential solutions
  • Develop the relevant measures to track and measure the effectiveness of the programmes and/or policies implemented

 

Requirements

  • Background in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Infocomm Technology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in following emerging technology, particularly in areas that intersect with cybersecurity
  • Experience in national-level technology policy and programme formulation
  • Relevant experience and/or exposure to the application of technology in business sectors is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, project management and negotiation skills
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong engagement skills
  • High self-driven, a team player and fast learner
