Job Description
A Research Fellow position is currently available in the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute - Environmental Process Modelling Centre (NEWRI - EPMC).
Job Responsibilities
- Support field research work on UAV-based remote sensing of turbidity in coastal waters
- Support field research work on field water quality sampling and collection, and field analysis for the quantification of water quality
- Work synergistically with Principle Investigator in data acquisition, data management and data analytics using machine learning and neural networks
- Summarize the findings in this project and produce the presentations and reports
Job Requirements
- PhD degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of post-doctoral experience in field water sampling and collection
- At least 2 years of post-doctoral experience in field water quality testing and analysis
- Highly motivated person who is able to work independently
- Good communication skills & team player
- Strong interest in research work
- Highly driven, independent, and resourceful
