Job Description

• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, CNC machine setup & process routing
• Create CNC design solutions, machining programs, modify engineering layouts as per customers’ requirements
• Develop efficient process plans for component manufacturing
• Design tooling, fixtures and machining sequence to support production process
• Generate engineering test reports and review engineering documentation
• Communicate to production and engineers for necessary information
• Troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical problems
• Takes the lead in establishing and identifying product cost/ quality improvements
• Document the CNC program and maintain the revision change according to the change management process
• Interface with internal and external customers regarding wide range of complex mechanical issues for specific project
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Semiconductor, Oil & Gas or Aerospace Engineering industry
• Professional certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Precision Engineering
• Excellent knowledge in handling, programming and setting up of CNC machines
• Proficiency in CAD software (i.e. Solidworks, UG)
• Good understanding of CNC machining and programming using CAD/CAM
• Able to read engineering drawings and good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Good interpersonal skills
